Albury Stainless Steel was founded in 1995 by Lindsay and Therese Krautz.
The family-owned and operated business’ initial workshop was a modest shared workspace down in the heart of South Albury. This space was quickly outgrown and in 1998 the business was moved to where it is currently located and operating, 600 Nurigong Street, South Albury.
During the beginning years, Lindsay and his crew found their feet and proved their worth in the growing commercial kitchen market.
Utilising their unique skills as qualified Fabrication engineers the team worked and expanded into a range of areas including, Exhaust Canopies & Ducting, SS hand railing/Balustrading, Bar & Cafés, Custom Refrigeration Cabinets, Alfresco Kitchens, Process Pipe & Tube Welding, CAD, Just to name a few.
After over 20 years at the Helm Lindsay & Terese had reached a point in their lives and decided it was time to hand the Business reins over to the Next-generation.
In July 2017, the current Directors Matt Krautz & Luke Suters jumped at the chance to call Albury Stainless Steel their own.
Matt & Luke are very well versed in the high standard of quality set by Lindsay & the team as they both completed their respectful apprenticeships under his watchful eye.
The timing was perfect as the boys had been out and about working all over the country & the world, constantly expanding on their initial skillset.
They knew that the challenge of running and updating the business was well within their capacity.
